Grilled T-bone Steak

The T-bone steak is a steak lover’s dream. Do you know that he classic T-bone is two steaks in one, strip steak is on one side, and a succulent filet mignon is on the other, with the distinctive t-shaped bone running through the middle. There are so many different ways to cook this steak but this recipe is my is one of my favorite.

Using rosemary and garlic butter gives nice aroma to the steak. I used dried rosemary but you can also use fresh. If using fresh rosemary stems, melt the butter in a sauce pan and simmer rosemary and garlic in this butter for few minutes.

Another important step to follow while cooking steak is resting it after cooking. This will let all the moisture and juices inside the meat to redistribute. Otherwise it will just flow out if you dig into it right away, leaving you with a brown, overcooked , chewy piece of meat.
