Limca or Masala Soda is famous street drink in Pakistan. The drink is very simple to make with some lemon juice, black salt and some spices but the signature loud bang which you hear at the limca stall produced by opening of the fizzy drink bottle cannot be recreated here.
When your husband craves for thailay wala limca while living in Canada then you need to improvise with whatever ingredients you have at home. With try and error I’ve come up with my own version of limca drink which is closest to what we get at dhora ji, only the loud bang is missing.
Tips
You can add a bit of powdered sugar, mint leaves and ginger to it if you want it to be more exotic.
