In warm weather cold coffee is the best way to satisfy caffeine cravings. Do you know the acidic contents of coffee decreases when its served cold so its much easier on stomach. Also caffeine is a natural appetite suppressant and will delay normal feelings of hunger for a short period of time. While this doesn’t directly help you lose weight, it will likely cause you to eat less throughout the day. So if you are on your weight loss journey simply omit cream and ice-cream from this recipe and add extra two cups of ice.
Cold Coffee
There are so many ways to make cold coffee. In this recipe I've used blender to make milk froth, if you have milk frother or mason jar you can use that instead of blender.
Ingredients
- 2 tbs Hot water
- 1 tbs Instant Coffee
- 1 tbs Cocoa powder
- 3 tbs Sugar
- 2½ cups Chilled milk
- 1 cup Ice
- 3 tbs Whipping Cream
- 3 scoops ice-cream coffee or vanilla flavor
Instructions
- Mix hot water, coffee and coco powder well and keep aside. Let it cool for a bit.
- In a blender add coffee mixture, sugar, ice-cream and ice and blend for good 4-5 mins.
- Enjoy it as is or serve it with some whipping cream on top.
Notes
This recipe yields 3 glasses of cold coffee. You can skip ice if your milk is chilled for that place the milk in freezer for an hour beforehand. You can skip whipping cream but it adds extra creaminess and froth to coffee.
