Homemade Chatpata Chaat Masala
Chat masala is a popular spice blend commonly used in South Asian cuisine, particularly in Indian and Pakistani dishes. It’s a tangy, salty, and slightly spicy mix of spices that adds a burst of flavor to snacks, salads, fruits, and street foods like chaat, hence the name.

- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper corn
- 10-15 Red button chilli or long chilli
- 1 tsp Ginger powder
- 2 tbsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Coriander seeds
- 2 tbsp Mango powder/khatai powder/amchoor powder
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp Ajwain / carom seeds
- 2-3 Cloves
- ½ tbsp Tartaric acid
Dry roast the whole spices on low heat in a pan.
Grind everything in a spice grinder. when everything cools down.
Store it in a airtight container.
