Choclate Chip cookie

This recipe makes rich, chewy cookies to serve and enjoy in no time. You could feel the buttery goodness with the delicious chocolate slowly melting in your mouth.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Unsalted butter softened at room temperature
- ½ cup White granulated sugar
- 1 cup Brown sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 tsp Baking soda 1tsp
- ½ tsp Salt
- 2¼ All-purpose flour
- 150-200 g chocolate of your choice I combined ½cup cholate chips with ½cup cholate chunks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 F or 180 C and line a baking tray with parchment paper or tray liner.
- Cream together the butter and sugar for a few minutes or until light and fluffy.Mix in the egg and vanilla essence until nice and smooth.
- Combine baking soda, salt and all-purpose flour in a separate bowl.Add the dry mixture with the wet mixture.
- Finally, fold in the chocolate .
- Place 2 tbsp sized mounds of dough onto the prepared sheet, 2 inches apart.
- The size of the cookie is up to you guys, however, I made big cookies like the ones at Delfrio.
- Put the cookies in preheated oven for approximately 9-12 minutes or until the chocolate has melted, and the dough is slightly golden brown and less glossy than before.
- After it has been baked, you can place chocolate chunks onto the cookie (optional).
- Cool the cookies for 10-15 of minutes on a wire rack.
- Serve the cookies with ice cream, cold milk or chocolate sauce. Enjoy
Notes
The butter and eggs should be at room temperature.
If you want the cookies to be extra chewy add a table spoon of cooking oil.
Cooking time could very for different ovens. Keep an eye on the cookies to get the desired results.
